Broken Social Scene
After five long years, Canadian indie collective Broken Social Scene releases their new album, Forgiveness Rock Record, this May. Continuing to make subdued indie rock feel epic, the returning members employ their usual sound to make a familiar and equally great album. Guest/might as well be members/awesome appearances by Feist and Emily Haines from Metric ensure greatness as well. With most their upcoming shows consisting of sold out concerts, festival lineup appearances and a hasty dip through Europe, it may be tough to get in on the action but based on their live reputation it'd be worth it.
Off the new album:
Broken Social Scene - Forced to Love
From 2002:
Broken Social Scene - KC Accidental
Upcoming shows at their Myspace.
