The Hundred In The Hands is a sharp, avant-pop group hailing from New York, unsurprisingly. The duo create tracks that are very precise electronically, relying on heavy analog machine work, but still having lax enough guitars to keep things loose. Their and beats are stiffly exact, enough to draw you in and get stuck in your head, as I promise this track will.
"Tom Tom" is very minimalistic, starting off with only a fluttering bongo beat and then continually building upon itself as Eleanore Everdell's fleetingly cool voice swings in. Listen to the song as it progresses, it will surprise you, throwing in textures and even a gospel-like vocal melody.
