Ok, I swear I'll stop posting about stoner metal for at least a few days, but I'm not doing it without good reason--High on Fire have released a new song through Adult Swim. "Speak in Tongues" features the sludgy two-parts-doom-metal one-part-Motorhead assault the band has become known for. Frontman Matt Pike, who was a founding member of stoner metal kings Sleep (see my post below), absolutely shreds once again and delivers some seriously pissed-off vocals. The whole thing comes together like a herd of stampeding mastodons.High on Fire - "Speak in Tongues"
If you like the track, make sure to check out Snakes for the Divine, which is definitely looking like one of the best metal releases of the year.
