The Black Keys- "Howlin' For You", Brothers ALBUM LEAK

So The Black Keys' seventh album Brothers has leaked onto the omnipotent Internet, and while we at TWS cannot in good conscience give you the link, we encourage you to peep the shit out of it, because it does in fact rule. For an amuse-bouche, we offer "Howlin' For You", a neat bluesy stomp set up against Patrick Carney's thundering glam-rock backbeat. It features a funky call-and-response between a fuzzed-out bass and an Albert King-style guitar, with Dan Auerbach's vocals squealing over the top. Needless to say, the joint hits hard, and is a great rock workout in an album I think is one of the best in 2010 so far.

For: people who keep a steady diet of White Stripes and Jock Jams, with some hip-hop sensibilities for added spice.
