Whether you're a fan of his hypercharged party anthems or annoyed by his over-the-top poptimism, this disc is a surprising change for W.K. On 55 Cadillac, the white-clad rocker trades in his gruff yell and wall-of-sound guitars for eight tracks of instrumental "spontaneous solo piano improvisations."
