Throwback Thursday - Kyuss

Before Queens of the Stone Age, there was Kyuss. In the early '90s, these guys brewed up tar-pit riffage so thick that it helped spawn the subgenre of stoner metal. Josh Homme plugged his guitar into bass amps while in the band, propelling songs like "Green Machine" and "Demon Cleaner" with super heavy tones that push on like an avalanche of steaming molasses. Great driving music. I feel pretty rad blasting Kyuss while cruisin' in my Honda Odyssey.
