Taking an adventurous peak from under the veil of noise and distortion, Japandroids' new single sounds vaguely Dinosaur Jr.-esque, happily nostalgic and desperately honest. For skeptical fans of old, there's still plenty of banging on the drums, erratic yelling throughout the pseudo-melodic choruses and guitar that forcefully removes any hint of silence.
