UCB feat. Wale- "Pat Your Weave"

DC go-go veterans UCB dropped this joint in November, and while I should be finding new music, I disregarded that entirely for this song because it song is so fun. Featuring a kickin' Beyoncé sample and live instrumentation, the beat is if the Roots started listening to Jackson 5, a combination I dare you to find fault with. As if it weren't infectious enough, the chorus is call-and-response, with Wale's breezy flow on top. (Sample line: "Get so much cream/I'm gonna open me a Cold Stone"). With a song this fun, there is nothing left to do but play this as loud as possible. Happy summer folks.
