Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman Tom Fec has a new album out entitled Maniac Meat under the moniker Tobacco. Sound wise, Fec's solo project carries elements of Black Moth such as psychedelic riffs and synth heavy sound. But these new songs come off more forceful and heavy, lacking the vocalist's usual electronically filtered and innocuous voice and trading the smooth arpeggio backgrounds for cutting synthscapes. These tracks are short, sweet and filled with enough exaggerated distortion and electro beats to scrape your face more intensely than a really pissed off lobster.
