You can now stream the entirety of electronic duo Ratatat's upcoming LP4 on NPR's website up until the album's release on June 8th. Expect more of what makes Ratatat great in the first place--huge beats, bubbling synths, twinkling harpsichords, and, of course, Mike Stroud's silky-smooth guitar harmonies--as well as several new surprises. In addition, the spoken-word interludes from their self-titled debut return, adding another dimension of surrealism to the songs. My favorites at the moment include the shuffling grind of "Drugs" and the psychedelic swing of the oddly-named "Party With Children."Stream LP4 here.
