The Holdup are a band hailing from NorCal, and they're very much on the upswing after signing to Dub Rock Records last year. Going through each song on their debut album Stay Gold, they don't totally stick to one kind of sound. Basing their music off of reggae and dub influences, they build extensively on them with dabs of rock, hip-hop, soul, and pop sensibilities.
These dudes have got some good, good, good vibrations going on, and they'll be the perfect background track to your day's escapades. Chron-don.
